Every NSE-listed stock under the Additional Surveillance Measure (ASM) today, long-term and short-term, by symbol and company, from NSE's own published lists, rewritten every weekday night. Both exchanges and both frameworks together: the NSE and BSE ASM list. Also: BSE ASM list · Long-term ASM list · Short-term ASM list.
Current NSE ASM stocks
The list loads when the page opens. It is written from the exchanges' lists each weekday night. If it does not appear, see the NSE and BSE ASM list.
Where the list comes from
NSE's daily regulatory-indicator file (REG_IND) has a long-term ASM column (stages 1–4) and a short-term ASM column (stages 1–2); 100 means not on it. The same lists are on NSE's ASM page.
Understanding the list
- What is ASM? What the Additional Surveillance Measure is and who decides.
- Long-term ASM (stages I–IV, at least 90 calendar days) and short-term ASM (stages I–II, reviewed after 5 or 15 trading days).
- ASM vs ESM vs GSM: how the surveillance measures differ, and why a stock on ESM is left out of ASM.
Frequently asked questions
- What is the NSE ASM list?
- The list of NSE-listed stocks under the Additional Surveillance Measure, long-term (stages I–IV) and short-term (stages I–II). This page lists them by symbol, company and framework, from NSE's own lists.
- How often is the NSE ASM list updated?
- The exchanges publish their ASM lists every trading day. This page is rewritten every weekday night after the day's lists are out; the date above the list says which day it shows.
- Is being on the ASM list an adverse action against the company?
- No. ASM shortlisting is a market surveillance measure based on price and trading patterns. It is not an adverse action against the company and not a judgement about its business.
- Is a company on both the NSE and BSE ASM lists?
- Usually, when it is listed on both, but each exchange keeps its own list and the framework or stage can differ. The NSE and BSE ASM list on this site shows both, one row per exchange.
